Triangle Sequence 3
This painting is the third in a series of paintings that involves a specific process. A ground is first applied- neutral yet leaning toward a hue. A skeletal design- a design code involving a triangular grid system allowing the scale of the triangles to morph as they are spread across the plane. Then a set of modulating hue and value is applied in either a inward/outward directional splay between the skeletal grid. a second layer of modulating hue and value is applied within a spiraling splay always within the last layer.
